Budbreaking News - Updated 6/22/09
Note:  Summer hours begin May 1st!  Along with Wieners & Wine every Friday Night.
Wine news:
Three Amgios is now available.  This is our best selling sweet red wine with the familiar taste of the Concord grape.  Gather up your friends and come share a bottle at Sleepy Creek.

Other wine news:  Little Woody is sold out!  We hope to offer this unique wine again next year.  Hen Pecked is temporarily sold out but will be back in time for July 4th.  We were unable to keep up with demand and haven't had time to bottle it.  Sorry, folks.

The new lemon slushy flavor is a hit!  We've been mixing it with our white wines, Sour Puss and Dreamer and it tastes like a frozen lemonade or lemon shake-up. Be sure to come sample this and all our wines soon.

Don't forget!  If you want to be notified by email when sold out and new wines will become available again and are not signed up for our email list, email us at info@sleepycreekvineyards.com.

Music news:
Saturday, June 27 at 8 PM:  Tricia Scully, Carl Hauck and Steph Plant  $10
Described as unique, experimental and entertaining, these three twenty-somethings are newcomers to Sleepy Creek.  Their performance here will give you your money's worth.  Check out their sounds at:

Saturday, July 25 at 8 PM:  Jeff & Vida $15
This original bluegrass and rockabilly duo comes to us from Nashville, TN.  With original timeless ballads, raucous bluegrass barn-burners, and driving acoustic honky-tonk, the voices are pure, the arrangements are electrifying, and the result is music that is real, true, and makes you tap your toes.

Sunday, August 2 at 8 PM:  Steve Poltz  $15

Steve returns once more to Sleepy Creek!  With each returning performance, he pushes the envelope with his creative style.  www.stevepoltz.com

Saturday, Sept 5 at 8 PM:  Hayward and Kelly  $10
Hayward Williams performed with Miles Nielsen a few months ago and we loved his sound and great lyrics.  Hayward comes back to us from Milwaukee, WI.  Kelly Steward is from Chicago, IL.  She has struggled to find her way in her musical career, like so many of the upcoming talented artists who come to Sleepy Creek.  They both are passionate about music. www.myspace.com/haywardwilliams   www.myspace.com/kellystewardmusic

Saturday, Oct 10 at 8 PM:  Laura Meyer  $10
Laura, seemingly quiet and unassuming, astounded us last year with her powerful voice and lyrics.  She's spent the past year living in New York and working on new material.  You'll enjoy her magical lyrics and sound.
