Our Wines
Since we are a small winery, we sell our wine at our tasting room and a few Illinois wine festivals. We are not currently selling our wines in any restaurants or stores.
But yes, we do ship our Sleepy Creek wine to selected states!

Sleepy Creek Vineyards makes all our wine right here on site and grows 10 acres of grapes.
We do buy grapes from other Illinois and Indiana growers. For our popular and sweet Three Amigos and Scapegoat wines, we supplement with juice from New York state.
Sleepy Creek currently produces about 30,000 bottles a year and often are unable to keep up with demand. That's a great thing for us but customers often get disappointed when we sell out and have learned to buy a case of their favorites.
Buying by the case (12 bottles) saves you 10% so stock up when your favorites are available.
In addition to our wines listed below, we offer two flavors of wine slushies and our special version of sangria, called Wapatulli. Cheers!
Our Wines
Dreamer
A light bodied semi-dry white wine made from Vidal Blanc grapes from central and southern Illinois. A subtle floral flavor
with just a hint of fresh fruit, this wine goes fine with a meal or
by itself. Best served chilled.

An aromatic
citrusy semi-sweet white wine made from La Crescent, Vignoles
and Traminette grapes. Guaranteed to make you purr. Serve chilled but be careful. It's addicting.

Apple
A semi-sweet wine from from local apples. Features a label from our new Artisan Label Series, "The Fool" by Robert Chapman. Don't be "The Fool", try some before this small batch is gone.

Scapegoat
A sweet white wine made from Niagara, Cayuga and LaCrosse grapes. White grape juice with a kick. Serve very chilled for maximum pleasure and serve often.

Winey Mary
This will make you re-think wine...and your life. Tomatoes and Jalapenos were fermented and aged about 1 year in stainless steel. The result is a white wine that tastes like a very light Bloody Mary. We recommend serving Winey Mary naked on the rocks or add your favorite Bloody Mary ingredients such as celery salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, pickle spear etc. and serve over ice.

Bull Headed
An unfiltered dry red wine made from Illinois-grown
Chambourcin, aged in American & French oak barrels. Best served at
room temperature, try it with a hearty meal.

Little Woody
Aged in stainless steel with oak, it's a semi-dry blend of Leon Millot and Marcheal Foch. Vanilla, fruit and a smoky velvety finish.

Hen Pecked
A
semi-sweet red wine made from Frontenac. Fermented with the skins, it
has tannin & hints of cherry. Served room temperature, it drinks more like a dry red but served chilled, it drinks sweeter.

A light, semi-sweet rosé made from red Frontenac grapes. Perfect for sipping or pairing with a meal. Served chilled, it goes down easy and can sneak up on you quick.
